The society of false information and all the news we do not have

Although we have a clear idea of what we must do and what we must not do in subjects of emancipating “informative production” the praxis has been weak. A theoretical rigor is not enough nor the references, nor the poses of the “progressive” scholars. Also not enough the choruses
of the “critics” that talk in back incapable of solving the problems they are facing. The advance of the means of “news” production capable of defeating the bourgeois hegemonic model that requires of
long range political work plan and from concrete conditions. Producing revolutionary quality information and not inform it must be part of the generalized work struggle of the workers against capitalism. There are no extenuating circumstances.

For a long time we have known that a useful “news program” for humanity must be mostly an organizing tool in specific territories. A philosophical power of organization to intervene specifically in certain scenarios. We have known that these specific scenarios are the front of the working class struggle, not only in the factories or in the fields against the land owners but also in arts, in the academies, ...in the offices, in culture… there were the voices of the workers organize for a just struggle, there where the revolutionary news spots are born.

But it is not enough to find scenarios, it is also necessary to find words, syntaxes, tones and means of telling and infect the organizational soul of revolutionary history in their scale and with tactics of the workers and not the information matrixes. This changes challenge and makes it more complex because it becomes dynamic, because it converts it into revolutionary culture also aimed to strip
us of the “news” model inoculating the peoples as if it were the only and best way to transmit information. For many it is impossible, a parricide of form and mercantile content of “news”. But it must be done.

For example TeleSur has left an indelible and invaluable mark on the enormous battle to transform the production of information into a revolutionary tool that the peoples make visible in their struggles as protagonists. But only one television news agency can do little alone and grow, at the same time, in many means of information production in solidarity and linked together in their struggle against the capitalist means and manner of information. We need one and two thousand “Prensa Latinas”; we need thousands of alternative and community media, televisions, documental filmmakers, radio, press
explaining their specific tactics and strategies systematic agenda united in a maximum objective. In other words what we did not do.

We talk of a world revolution of production of information capable of being news because it is collective, democratic and revolutionary. Capable of learning to join voices and make them a powerful story against lies, and, primarily strengthen a means of production that is multi polarity in points of view that build strengths in the united for the truth and against the common enemy, capitalism of the human species..

The other part of our historic defeat is not to count on the schools of formation that we need for the revolution of information. We need “neutral” informers; we need scientists of information to set
positions next to the peoples in their inalienable search for the truth and scientific construction, necessarily social, of where the fight. We need esthetic and ethical commitments for a revolution of
thought that needs information like a way of life that needs oxygen. Nothing more and no less, of this caliber for the responsibility and reach of the task. Its importance is so extraordinary that we cannot
leave it in the hands of capitalism; not another minute. Find out.
