Entrenched in that kind of bourgeois egomania that they call “journalism”; file all those rotten dialogues that the oligarchs like to finance, to cultivate servile opinion makers for the market. They call themselves “pluralists” when most are partial and anti State. They are authoritarian, naïve and ignorant disguised as “free thinkers” in public despite their diarrhea of conspicuous courtesans. They could not pass a basic test in any school of journalism. They claim to know “politics” and “politicos” but of the working class and their emancipating interests they know nothing, and of the battles of the peoples and the miseries that capitalism makes – daily – they carefully omit all reference. That is the best portrait.

Show business of intolerance in Argentine television

The force of those who sustain the screens is not lucid, nor is it informative audacity; nor is it their talent as political experts but announcers that are paid for those stereotyped vociferations with which they exhibit the “journalists” paid by show business of reactionary subjectivity.
Decadence itself. There is no broadcast, under the pretext of “freedom of expression” (theirs) that does not sabotage critical thought; thinking decently or slogans of a popular base. At the first critical statement they jump up together (like hyenas) to bury with interruptions, sophistry, mocking laughter or hand waving; the voice always at a disadvantage of the invited prisoners of their unpalatable ambushes... For example it is how they give and take the microphone away.

But the most despicable is the hierocracy, the masquerade and the planned state to unleash all the hatred that runs across the screen. The tacit or explicit agreement relies on seeming high sounding vociferation like rules of a “democracy” of the word which they decide to use to silence those who think differently; the silenced rudeness against those who think differently. They can take their time. It is an old trap practiced years ago in the laboratories of starch intolerance. But these repeat it as a “novelty” that sells publications. And their usefulness should charge more because of it.
We are not fooled. We know that class battles are fought if in very different scenarios (including television programs) in which disputes make sense and in which all social contradictions are heightened. We are not fooled and know that the bourgeois train their hounds to go to all the fronts and combat any idea that does not admit the hegemony of capitalism against human beings. We are not fooled and know full well the manner in which the news sellers have created fallacies of markets in which, with shouts, offenses and rotten words of all kinds in an attempt to silence the expression of the popular in their most revolutionary senses. And it is just because we know all this is why we must denounce it and not swallow it as they package it or imposed it.
It is true we can always change the channel (to see the same in another station) and also not change it to denote critically the cunning arguments planned with which they lie to us. We can select also between exerting our right to question the interests and “incomes” of these bourgeois ideologues disguised as “journalists” and the consequences when mixed with hatred and falsity like a night time cocktail to send us to sleep in desolation and fearful if we think differently of those “journalists” who begin shouting at us and silencing us with a despicable repertoire of their daily work and charging a pretty penny. Because they do charge. Have no doubt.
They claim they have the right to be and do the “journalism” they invented because they work for private companies and for the market of news. They think that they are not questioned and are untouchable and do whatever is necessary to defend their trenches with impunity at all costs. We don’t believe this mercenary formula or those market journalisms. We have seen their crimes before in history of the communications dominated by capitalism. Simply it is hard to swallow.
It is another journalism that the peoples need and that encourages them. It is another need for the truth and urgency of science in the tasks of a social communication free of greed and petulance of the time. It is another need for a journalism relying on the base inspired to think, to feel and the discomfort of the peoples and not the rhetoric of the business cupolas converting into to “politicos” and their scribes with an easy trigger finger. Argentina took enormous steps for its communicational sovereignty with laws of anti monopolies of splendid historical roots and strategic bravery in the revolution of communication that we all need. It is one of the targets of the oligarchic hatred to rob the Argentine people of one of its most precious conquests. The people have the word. For them this is a difficult subject. Will we be denied the right to give opinions freely?
