The candidate is Argentinian and of our America Project

I am a Peronist because I am a Marxist : J.J. Hernández Arregui

This Sunday October 25 Argentina will hold presidential and legislative elections. The national-popular project grouped under the Front For Victory (Frente Para la Victoria [FPV]) won the first Simultaneous and Obligatory Open Primaries (PASO) with the Scioli-Zannini formula obtaining 38,41% of the votes leaving an
excellent position to win the elections even in the first round.

The death of Nestor and the impossibility of re election of Cristina has required a Kirchnerism national project to insure, not only without Kirchner in front but headed by someone of the hard line of Kirchner (a role that must be played by Vice President Carlos Zannini, current Legal and Technical Secretary of the Presidency in the Argentine nation).
But it is a time for definitions and not political fiction and now must sustain the national-popular conquests of the past decade that was won and move in depth where possible. For this the list of legislators are replete with committed comrades that are militants there in the distant barrios from the official offices and chroniclers of the political rose journals (or orange). The lists of the FVP are filled with candidates from La Cámpora, Nuevo Encuentro or Movimiento de Participación Estudianti (MPE)l. There is the Kirchner Project but also of Latin America constructed from below and from the left wing.
This candidature of the Latin American and Caribbean left must also play an important role in the October elections, because, Argentina is but a metaphor of reflux of change of an era in Our America.

Metaphors that remits us to a broad discussion by the left on issues of leadership; the importance of the electoral road but also of the territorial work and political formation; the need to restructure the project to seduce the middle classes and the youth without losing the original essence nor the hard nuclei that have moved forward this process; the unity in diversity since no country can put the conquests achieved in front of a new recharged right wing and soft coups that point not only to one process but to the camps of the left, be they revolutionary or reformists.

But for this debate to be produced we cannot take one step back in the project of Latin American integration through the consolidation of each advance achieved since, in 1998 the eternal Commandant taught us that there was an alternative to the history and that it was possible to build an alternative from and by the popular majority. And that is the road we have chosen to cross several times with the comrades of
the MPE who have compa Leo Moyano as the candidate for Parlasur in the lists of the Frente Para la Victoria.
I use this column to express my support in the elections of October for the MPE and FPV in the figure of Leo as representative of the Argentine youth that made the Cordobazo and fought in the Falklands; of Santucho and the Montoneros; of the Large Homelands dreamt by one of the great architects of Latin America and First General Secretary of Unasur, Nestor Kirchner.

Therefore, I support the nomination of Leo to Parlasur headed by the former Chancellor during the defeat of FTAA in Mar del Plata, Jorge Taiana and that of Scioli and Zannini to sustain and deepen the conquests ripped from neo liberalism by Nestor and Cristina.
