Statement in defense of Venezuela´s sovereignty.

The participants of the international workshop “the many sided crisis of the system-world” in face of the new aggression suffered by the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, an aggression that continues the
campaign of media harassment, political and economic suffered by the Venezuelan people, declare the following:

- We reject the imperialist interference in the Venezuelan process and denounce the hypocrisy of the United States; the main violator of human rights in the world to approve a decree supported by the “Law of
Human Rights and Civilian Society of Venezuela 2014” a unilateral law that violates the sovereignty of Venezuela.

- We affirm that Venezuela is no “unusual or extraordinary threat to national security and foreign policy” but a threat by United States interference against all the countries that are undergoing a process of transformation of the neo liberal system and practice their legitimate and sovereign right over their natural resources.
- Venezuela is, today, is a dam against the imperial threat against Latin America and the Caribbean and, therefore, defend that its sovereignty is in defense of the integrationist project of Latin America.

- We express our solidarity with the Venezuelan people and declare our undying support of the democratically elected government headed by its president Nicolas Maduro.
