UNASUR Rejects US Aggressions on Venezuela. Statement


Communiqué of the South American Union of Nations on the Executive Decree of the Government of the United States regarding Venezuela.
The member states of the South American Union of Nations expressed their rejection of the Presidential Decree of the Government of the United States of America approved on March 9 2015 denouncing that it is an threat of interference to sovereignty and the principle of non intervention in the internal affairs of other States.

The member States of UNASUR reaffirmed their commitment abiding the full right of International Rights, the Peaceful Solution to Conflicts and the principle of Non intervention and call on the Governments to abstain from applying the coercive unilateral measures that violates International Right.

UNASUR called on the government of the United States of America to evaluate and put in practice alternatives of dialogue with the government of Venezuela under the principle of respect of sovereignty
and self determination of the peoples. Consequently it calls for the derogation of this Executive Decree.
