Fidel Castro, leader of the Cuban Revolution added his signature to the document signed by intellectuals and politicians who have added their names to the Manifest “In Defense of Palestine” promoted by the Network In Defense of Humanity.

Last August 5 Fidel wrote an article entitled “Palestine Holocaust in Gaza” in which he expressed “the genocide of the Nazis against Jews garnered the hatred of all the peoples of the earth. Why does the government of that country believe that the world would be insensitive to the macabre genocide today committed against the Palestine people?
Does it expect to be ignored when there is complicity of the U.S. Empire in this shameful massacre?
Among the personalities who have expressed their adhesion to the document “In Defense of Palestine” are the Bolivian president, Evo Morales, the writer Eduardo Galeano; Nobel Laureate Adolfo Pérez Esquivel, poet and president of the House of America, Roberto Fernández Retamar; prima ballerina Alicia Alonso; U.S. writer, Alice Walker; Cuban singer songwriter Silvio Rodríguez; Bishops Raúl Vera and Pedro Casaldáliga, Brazilian leader Joao Pedro Stedile and many others.
The manifest of the Network in Defense of Humanity demands that the governments of the world for Israel to comply with the resolutions of the UN Security Council that demands it withdraw from Gaza, the West
Bank and East Jerusalem according to the resolution of 1967.
