Reading the wave of publications on the Cuban migrants trapped between Costa Rica and Nicaragua intend to reach the US and take Advantage of the Law of Cuban Adjustment, some questions are missing:
Dealing with persons who, handed over to human traffic controlled by the Mafia, pay thousands of dollars to be taken from Ecuador, through Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala and Mexico to finally cross the Border into the US and take Advantage of the Law of the Cold War that automatically privileges them as political refugees from Cuba. Is it by chance that what was a semi clandestine process and often invisible has been transformed into a column of hundreds of persons right between the two countries with a border conflict, just weeks before the president of one of them visited Cuba?
Does the crisis bear any relationship with which the same press torpedoes the process of normalization of relations between Cuba and the US that for decades stimulated illegal emigration have undertaken in recent days a campaign to eliminate the Law that privileges the Cubans and is unique in the world. But, becoming US citizens with the right to vote for those who wish a normal relationship with their country of origin, dynamites the electoral basis that allows those who manage the press political control in Southern Florida. Is the solution a ship that transports these persons from Costa Rica to Honduras – as the Miami press claims – stimulating permissiveness for the Mafias to profit from human flesh and continue making money from now on, stimulating drub traffic and costing the lives of innocent persons?

Does the US have at least five decades of stimulating illegal emigration of Cubans as a propaganda weapon against the Island that has no responsibility in this crisis?
Shouldn’t Washington increase the number of visas in their embassy in Havana to the size that is similar to those Cubans it admits illegally across its borders and put a halt then to the policy of “dry feet-wet feet” that is the main stimulus to a crisis such as this?
Why then, with the exception of the note of the Cuban Foreign Affairs Ministry, no media, even the ones who claim to be “alternative” did not question the government of the United States over this issue?
