The Bolivarian Revolution is not over

It is wrong to delight of others' misfortunes especially if it occurs in the middle of a perfect storm of lies and nonsense about Venezuela that has turned spinning every day with the clear intention to swallow us. Ignacio Ramonet explained it very well last night in Telesur when the results of the parliamentary elections were not yet known and that gave the majority to the opposition. The Bolivarian Revolution is not over, and much less while from above the media transnationals and political elites are only muddied.

The director of Le Monde Diplomatique analyzed why. This election is for the National Assembly but for the Venezuelan system of government it is presidential. You can have a victory in a parliament of 167 seats that give a margin of power, but limited, as occurs in the United States. The Cubans understand it very well: President Obama has the right to govern and take decisions every day, but lifting the blockade corresponds to Congress. Even so we know that Obama has faculties he has not used when he perfectly can leave the blockade an empty shell. You figure it out.
Whoever has followed these elections cannot ignore that the Electoral Power and Venezuelan instructions have been legitimized. There was calm during the day until a derogatory note was not by Chavism but by the international accompaniments of the opposition that violated the most element norms of respect for the elections by interfering in local policy.

Does the Maduro government have it easy? Of course not. Will he keep on himself the constant threats of the coup right that tends to despise popular will, that does has the political and military support of the United States and these elections have been a boost. What will it try, with renovated spirit to make not only Venezuela – we are well award\e of the support of the Chavist Revolution continentally – a process made by millions of poor citizens and who has been permanently harassed by an economic boycott and organized crime at the services of a neo liberalism trans nationalized and para militarism.

The concern is that if the objectives of the right of pots and pans and Yankee flag, the symbolic and social dismantling of the Venezuelan Revolution can become a savage activity that will turn back what has been achieved today. The radical intransigence against the Bolivarian Government, a source of organic orphanage and of double nature; on the one side almost two decades of Chavism: on one hand a high self destructive capacity but the other is more dangerous given (not put in words still but patently present0 traditional decision of policy with blood.
