lo que fuera paraíso,

hoy repleta de quejidos.

tiñe el suelo roja sangre
que mana de un pueblo herido.

eterno se hace el martirio,
sistema inmisericorde,
injusto, brutal, impío.

hoy yace un mundo distinto,
lo que fuera rutilante
hoy apagado y sin brillo.

el cielo se ve vacío,
el miedo todo lo llena
con su terrible rugido.

la risa es arte perdido,
en las caras manifiestas
la tristeza y el hastío.

como si fuera un mendigo,
extiende un pueblo su mano
rogando cese el castigo.
